Dive Boat Operator has Aquatrix - Direct Bookings

A dive boat operator can sign up for the Aquatrix service and configure its web site with the "Reservations" button so that individual divers can reserve space, equipment, and instruction directly with the operator.	The diver finds the operator's web site on his own, checks the trip schedule, and makes reservations directly.

Dive Boat Operator has Aquatrix - Books through Agent

A dive boat operator may offer trips through clubs, dive shops, tour operators, or travel agents who do not have the Aquatrix system, but who are allocated a number of spots on the boat in exchange for a discount or free seats. The divers typically already have a relationship with the club, shop, or agent, and will book trips through that agent, who will then use the Dive Boat Operator's web site to make the booking on the boat. If divers visit the dive operator's web site directly, and the trip they desire has seats allocated to an agent, they will be directed to the agent.

A dive club, dive shop, tour operator, or travel agent can sign up for the Aquatrix service and offer trips that may be conducted by various dive boats that do not have the Aquatrix system. The agent does not need to reveal the actual dive boat that will be used on the trip, and will make their own arrangements (by telephone, fax, etc.) with the dive boat to ensure the space is available. The divers typically already have a relationship with the club, shop, or agent, and will be directed to their web site where they can check the trip schedule and make reservations directly. The agent will independently make arrangements with the dive boat(s) based on the reservations that are made by the divers on the Aquatrix system.
